Divorce and Separation 16%

Divorce comprises the bulk of Ms. Bier's practice, which includes negotiation and modification of support issues (both child and spousal), as well as issues of custody and domestic violence. Ms. Bier works strenuously on her clients' behalf to avoid trial and reach settlement whenever possible. When cases do go to trial, she prepares rigorously and often prevails. Ms. Bier also presides about once monthly in Washington County's divorce court as a pro tem judge.
