I was broken, frightened and thought I had to stay in an unhealthy marriage. Never have a I met two women, Lilian and her assistant Mary Ann, who were more caring, thoughtful and brilliant. Lilian was one hundred percent committed to helping me dissolve my 24-year marriage in a manner that was respec...tful to my fragile state. She always continually asked what I wanted and acted accordingly. She was a master in mediation and a no-nonsense trial attorney. Don’t let her tiny stature fool you, she can be vicious fighting for you. My case was very difficult and it was solved in a respectable time for a very reasonable cost. Never was I not able to contact Lilian or Mary Ann. Never were they not there for my best interests. Lilian’s kindness and knowledge of the law and what is right got me through a very difficult time. It was a tough fight, but because of Lil, I came out of it a much stronger women. Consider yourself lucky if she agrees to take your case.

I held off on writing this review to be sure of doing it justice. She was so good for me I wanted to do the same back for her. An attorney friend gave me 3 references to handle my divorce. After interviewing all 3 I chose Lilian and could not have been more satisfied. My friend later told me that... Lilian would have been his choice as well were he in the same position. She was excellent in getting me through a very difficult time, handled my case with professionalism and--most importantly--caring, even recommending a course of action that reduced her fees. She was excellent about follow up, including a few years later when financial issues were completed to insure that the satisfaction of judgement was filed. Perhaps the best praise of all--despite an at times contentious process, at the conclusion my ex recommended Lilian to a friend!

Lilian Bier is a very professional and knowledgeable attorney. Her tenacious approach to obtaining thorough records and financial information is excellent. I hired Lilian in 2000 to modify my divorce settlement as I needed more money for health insurance. She got what I needed and was a tremendous... support. I hired her again in 2013 when my ex wanted to terminate or reduce the lifetime alimony he had to pay. Lilian had to fight to get the true financial records and did a masterful job in court. I kept my alimony and he had the ex pay all my costs. Lilian’s staff were wonderful, and I had no problems with communication, either by telephone or email. Above all, Lilian made me feel validated. Yes, she points out all the worst case scenarios, but she fights hard for what is right. I love her sense of humor and feel like she would be a fabulous friend. I would recommend her most highly to anyone who needs an attorney, and have done so on several occasions. She is tiny, but mighty! I did read one negative review of her on this site, and think it must be someone who is possibly a competitor. ?

This law office has a reputation for weaponizing the discovery process, which will be unnecessarily expensive for both parties. It is possible they will cut and run once they have made a set amount from their client, and before going to court and risking losing their case based on unfounded nonsense....
