I'm going to keep this short but I was in a hostile divorce situation involving a mutual child and a dishonest spouse with severely unethical representation . During covid the divorce process dragged out to over two years of uncertainty and grief. We worked together in a way that I felt I was part of... the team. Ultimately I got results that were better than I had imagined possible. Im now about two months past the finalization and life is looking pretty darn good.

Wish reviews were available before wasting my time. Fired him. He wouldn’t talk with me except when convenient for him- many days without word. Secretary must be used to this as she was versed in how to dismiss my requests. Exceptionally rude. It’s his way or the highway. He owns you and your every ...move- and acts like it. The arrogance is next-level. Requested directions with my case and he berated me, patronized me, and fully offended me. He refused to give me any documents requested. Do exactly what he says or he’ll treat you very poorly and as if you were an ignorant child. Said I’d have to pay for their time to copy things and 10 cents per copy, by the way. I used a different, fantastic, respectful lawyer and she thought nothing we were wanting was unreasonable and judge ordered everything we requested. Avoid him, there is better out there, in every case.

Called mid Sept for consult. Web ad said free consultation. Emailed copy of ad when secretary said it would be $100. Set appointment for Sept 30th. In their parking lot on time received phone call that I had not sent payment. I said never heard from them and had the $100 cash if they were not go...ing to honor their web ad. Secretary came back on the phone and stated Mr Hobson now doesn’t want to do business with me. She then refused to discuss anything further. I had been referred by a satisfied client. I should have gone by the reviews online which were poor. Waisted two weeks , my time and not even a courtesy to speak to me. Ps my son has a high quality law firm in Bend in another speacilty field of practice

I hired Mr. Hobson to handle parenting time issues. He berated people, his staff was unfriendly and rude, he dragged the case out without reason, filed motions that made no sense and even some on behalf of opposing and charged me for it. My current attorney says he won't even take a case with Hobson ...as the opposing attorney. Don't waste your money.
