Sara Jo Buehler

I will be eternally grateful to Sara Jo Buehler and her team for helping me through an extremely trying time and divorce. For too many years I tried to make things work in my marriage knowing that divorcing my spouse, and the type of person they were, would make for an utter nightmare, which it was ...and more. But it finally became too much. In the beginning, it felt like I called every divorce attorney in Hawaii. Many did not bother to call back. Unfortunately, from sheer exhaustion and desperation, I landed on one that added to my nightmare. About a year and a couple of grand later, I was nowhere but disillusioned. So I started again to find a new attorney. Happily, I was referred to Sara Jo Buehler. From the onset , I knew I was in a better place as Sara Jo was very responsive, actively listened and was thoughtfully compassionate. I know I gave her a bit of a difficult time because of stress and my first experience, but she was patient and understanding. She thoroughly went over everything and explained the process and strategy she thought best and always took time to ensure I was informed, understood and in agreement. My case seem to hit a lot of roadblocks, but Sara persistently guided me through it all. There were times I felt like just getting out of the marriage was enough. But Sara always encouraged me and kept at the system till we got to the settlement I had hoped to get. She truly is an amazing lawyer and a wonderful person. I am so happy I had her to guide me out of that nightmare and into hope for a better life.

Sara Jo and her team represented me in my 2.5 year divorce with children, and in subsequent post-decree litigation with controlling ex. Sara was able to explain the family court judicial process in a manner that i was able to understand and guided me through the whole ordeal. She displayed great knowledge and understanding of her position and gave me good advice on all aspects of the proceedings. Her assistant ( Christie Gray) who ...also help me through these proceedings displayed a good understanding and knowledge of my situation and provided additional insight. I was very confident in their abilities and assured that they would help me to retain the one thing that was most important to me during this ordeal "time with my daughter".
