Biography
My name is Ofir Raviv, consumer bankruptcy attorney in Hawaii. I am passionate about doing the right thing for my clients. Bankruptcy may not be for you, but for the right person it can help find the financial peace of mind they need to start living their life free from the financial stress and worry that plagues them.
Once we meet, you’ll probably be interested to know I am from Israel. I was born and raised there and served three years in the Israeli Defense Force. After my service I met my lovely wife (a local girl from Oahu) who was a Peace Corps Volunteer while I was on a long backpacking trip to India. From there I followed her to the East Coast of the United States before moving to Hawaii in 2010 where we have made our home with family and friends.
I love helping others and take pride in the Kahiau Award for outstanding and dedicated volunteer work I received from Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii, with special recognition by United States Senator Mazie K. Hirono. I also served as Vice President of the Hawaii Bankruptcy Bar Association in 2018 and was appointed Delegate to the United States District of Hawaii Conference for 2018-2020.
Before starting Square One Legal, I worked as a bankruptcy attorney for one of Hawaii’s most prominent consumer bankruptcy law firms representing Debtors in hundreds of chapter 7 and chapter 13 cases, where I helped them navigate through the bankruptcy process with dignity and confidence. Prior to that I worked as a Law Clerk Extern for the Honorable Richard W. Pollack, Associate Justice at Hawaii Supreme Court, and as a Staff Attorney at Hawaii State House of Representatives.
