My father passed away in California with a living trust but had not deeded over his studio condo in Waikiki to his living trust while he was still alive. It was a no sweat and most straightforward probate case. I, the estate execut...or and representative, provided her with all the information she needed. I executed every court document expeditiously and correctly so the case closed in a few months without a question or court appearance. I didn’t challenge her fee given she was referred to me by my friend in Honolulu. However, I couldn’t justify how I paid her for that amount for an easy case like that. I will likely not use this lawyer again in the future.
