Emma Littman

Emma was a godsend during the course of my divorce. As an advocate and counsellor, she fought my corner and always kept me abreast of the realistic outcome of every legal hurdle. My marriage lasted 11 years, no children and no property, but there were some unique issues which needed to be handled del...icately. Her guidance and advice was indispensable, but it was her empathetic and direct role which really set her apart from my ex's attorney. There were several issues with the complaint and disclosures on the counterparty's side which she pressed immediately. She sought resolution and agreement without overstepping the bounds, and I felt supported throughout. And I am extremely happy to end this chapter and start anew. A real example of Emma's character and dedication to her client was shown, when it came to light that my ex had cancelled my medical insurance during the course of the divorce, in direct violation of the TRO. This action also prohibited me from staying on my old insurance under COBRA, thereby limiting my options. Emma was vacationing in Venice by the time I notified her, and without hesitation, she immediate set aside time to contact the ex's attorney, state the violation of the TRO, and commence an Emergency Order to throw out the decree unless there was immediate restitution. Additional items were added to the settlement and the matter was closed without any further issue. In sum, I recommend Emma very highly and wish her the very best.

I can't express how grateful I am for Emma. Retaining her for a custody battle that seemed never-ending for years was one of the best decisions I have made. I previously worked with a different party before Emma, and my experience with that firm made me search for another lawyer. I worked with Emma and her paralegal Anika for my divorce case which ended up being an almost 2 year process. You would think with all of the hard work, dedication, results, and warming care I was shown by Ms. Littman that I would have wrote this review last month when she told me I was finally divorced after a long and agonizing divorce. Every step of the way she fought and explained everything throughly an...d answered every question I had. I felt confident and secure during the entire process. I didn't worry at all with her lead, knowledge, and professionalism. She had my back 100% even when I didn't have my own. She knows what she is doing and does it from her heart with a side of "Fiesty" and gets things done! Although, I am anti marriage, if I ever needed to get a divorce, I am definitely going straight to Ms. Littman! This took me a while to write because I have a lot to say about Ms. Littman and didn't know how to keep it short. She is truly great! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

At the time I worked with Ms. Littman I was in the process of retiring from the military. I chose to come to Ms. Littman after my previous attorney made crucial mistakes in my divorce case. Ms. Littman is easy to talk to and very empathetic to your individual needs for a case. She was more of a siste...r and best friend through this trying time. She kept constant updates and responds to texts or emails within 5-15 minutes of me sending them. My case wasn’t extremely complicated, however the other party basically wanted to hold my kids hostage over not wanting to pay child support. I was awarded sole physical and legal custody of the children, prior to hiring Ms. Littman. Unfortunately, my previous lawyer didn’t include the one little sentence granting me permission to relocate from Hawaii with my children. Ms. Littman is extremely meticulous and detail oriented. She knows family law like no other attorney I’ve spoken (I spoke to a lot). Her office manager Ms. Ramos is amazing as well and communicates just as effectively as Ms. Littman does. Her incite helped me and the other party come to an agreement during mediation which sped up our court hearing. Just recently Ms. Littman was contacted on my behalf and instead of dismissing the call she informed me what was going on. Most lawyers would not do this once their service is over. If I could give her all the stars in the world I would. I was able to keep my children and move all before the pandemic hit and I’m extremely thankful for her. Ms. Littman has been truly amazing to work with and I highly recommend her whether you’re a civilian or serving in the military.
