"I just want to say this about Elijah Yip: Every single student at William S. Richardson Law School, University of Hawaii subsequent to 2002 or so used Elijah Yip's legal outlines to survive law school. More students in Hawaii around that time learned more from Mr. Yip than they did from any one professor. Honestly, for about ten years I did not even believe he was a real person but rather an amalgamation or a construct or a collection of people, or maybe a recluse who lived deep in the steam tunnels under the library and only worked on perfecting his outlines and maybe sending off applications to the Frito-Lay contest, "no purchase necessary to enter". Imagine my surprise when I met him a decade later and he wasn't just smart, but also a cool guy! And completely oblivious to the fact that so many owe him their law degree."
