Volition

Look to someone who understands the intricacies of the SJA, and the machine that seeks to vilify; rather than to vindicate. His in-depth understanding of countering the legal office is what will win your case. Constitutional rights our forebearers fought for us to have. As service members, we have ri...ghts guaranteed by Law. We fight for what we have, and we have rights (even during our service). (Let this aforementioned statement emanate) Understanding this with a world class representation will save your good standing for the rest of your life. Decisions at this point are pivotal in a service members career. Given the due diligence to get to this point, It was not an easy feat nor decision, but it is one that saved my life. David was my first choice, and I made the right decision.

Integrity and Truth

A seasoned attorney who is very professional and more importantly, an honorably good person. Genuinely cares for those he represents and doesn't cut corners making sure his clients get the very best of what they deserve. One of the best in the State of Hawaii

* Highest recommendation! Would re-hire in a heartbeat! *

Many professional interactions - including many we pay for - are disappointing, but David Hendrickson is an exception. His legal and "customer" service is top tier. On two separate occasions related to the same case, he dropped what he was doing to deliver urgently-needed counsel for a matter involv...ing UCMJ and a related administrative matter with only 24 hours notice. David is not only a consummate professional, but he's kind and generous - a true gentlemen and a rare gem. David's expert legal advice has most likely saved my career and I'm forever grateful. I cannot recommend highly enough this man who defines "going the extra mile". - A Naval Officer

Skillful UCMJ Court Martial Attorney

This review is a long time coming. However, I wanted to say that I have witnessed this attorney in action on many occasions in court martial and other military legal actions for all the branches. Litigating serious crimes for service members accused of crimes against the Uniform Code of Military Just...ice. Mr. Hendrickson Is a former judge advocate general for the United States, Army, Trial Defense Services and a Former active duty United States Marine. I first observe Mr. Hendrickson in action while I was working as a UCMJ Investigator in an assignment in Korea for a very serious case alleging that a 0-3 Capt. had committed a sexual assault on a subordinate. Mr. Hendrickson skillfully, litigated the case by planning out a excellent defense and countering the prosecution at every turn. He masterfully navigated the complex case and had the prosecution completely in the palm of his hand as well as a good rapport with the judge. As the investigator on this case, I thought that the case would go on for quite some time, but within 2 days the case was completely dismissed by the prosecution knowing that they were no match for Mr. Hendrickson. Throughout the rest of the years until now I have had the pleasure to work with him on many cases and as well as follow his career, he is WON the majority of his cases, if not all. that I have observed. Doing so while protecting the rights of those that have been falsely accused. In the community with other attorneys and Law Enforcement, he is feared by law. Enforcement, as well as look up to by other attorneys and oftentimes is ask by news organizations to comment on legal cases. If you are looking for an attorney that cares and understands the system and can skillfully navigate the complex and often times stacked against you Prosecution's that YOU may find yourself accused of Mr. Hendrickson is the attorney for you. I have done countless investigations over the last 20 years, and there are not many attorneys out there that care like he does, nor are there ones that have a record of winning as he does. Don't risk your career, your hard-earned benefits and your reputation. Call him if you need help. I definitely would.

Best Military Lawyer

David Hendrickson helped me with my case when I had lost hope in a positive outcome. I’d reached out to other attorneys, one with many reviews and/or commercials, and it just didn’t feel right. One phone call from Mr. Hendrickson settled all my doubts. He was upfront about my case, but not in a wa...y that seemed to be scare tactics to generate higher fees. He was available 24/7 and no question was too small for him to answer. David is a straight shooter, patient, professional and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to military law. My only regret is that he wasn’t my first call! In the end he proved that there was no case and the matter was dismissed resulting in no charges. Thanks again!

Relationship: Supervised lawyer

"I hired, supervised and worked with David when he was a new attorney. He has a great legal mind and the ability to communicate his position with opposing counsel as well as explain the system and the specifics of a case to the client. He sat second chair with me on a trial and the client and I were both glad he was part of the defense team. I've stayed in touch with David after he left our firm and rejoined the military. I've enjoyed hearing of his litigation experiences over the years but I was not surprised to hear about the number of victories he's secured for his clients. He's smart, extremely competent and an overall great guy who provides his client's an A+ defense."
