Practice concentrates in wrongful death, brain and other serious injuries suffered in auto, work place, maritime and aviation accidents as well as injuries sustained on business premises and as a result of defective products. This area requires and involves knowledge of insurance coverage issues and litigation of coverage disputes.

Civil litigation practice includes lawsuits in all Circuit Courts in the State of Hawaii as well as in the U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii and appeals to the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals, Hawaii Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mediation and arbitration is also employed to resolve many disputes.

Admiralty/Maritime practice concentrates in serious personal injuries and wrongful death sustained by seamen and passengers.

Practice concentrates in insurance coverage issues and disputes arising from auto, homeowners, commercial general liability, and other insurance contracts.
