Alan led me through the whole legal process after I was arrested. I had no clue who to hire, what to say, who to turn to, as I had never been in this position before. Thankfully Alan is/was very professional in helping me deal with the whole process from start to finish. I was in a tough spot as i wa...s set to leave the island to move back to the mainland before my court date; and he was able to be present in court for me and handle all of the paperwork and legal proceedings. Alan is a very professional lawyer who goes above and beyond to get the things done. I had a TRO hearing the next morning after I was just was referred to Alan. I called him late the evening prior and he was there in court to represent me while I was out of state. When I returned from my training ...I physically met Alan and my first impression verified the professionalism I was afforded over the phone. Alan takes the time to translate the legal jargon into a language anyone can understand. He is very responsive and prompt on any and all communications. He is a straight talker and his first question to me was “what is the end state to all of this?” When I told him my end state he stayed on course and made sure we accomplished our goal. Through my unexpected ordeal, Alan helped me focus on staying above the line and protecting myself from any further damage. You see it can be extremely difficult to reason with your spouse when she falls completely for a romance scam, up and leaving you with all the bills, the house to clean, her st...uff to pack and ship to her off island. During times of frustration, Alan gave sound guidance to me to just stay focused on getting the process over with, to focus my energy on what I had control over, and to be and remain cordial, during and beyond the divorce. 10 weeks later, my divorce was finalized. Can't say but good things about him. Nothing to make light of, but I liked him so much, I had him do this divorce, my second!
