Alan Yuzo Okamoto

Alan was a great asset to have during my long, drawn-out, and frustrating divorce; he's the attorney I needed in my corner and I enjoyed working with him.  Alan was able to communicate the divorce process and the law with me in terms that I could understand, and he developed a strong strategy that re...sulted in having all of my rights protected. Alan proved himself just as strong in the courtroom, standing in front of the judge and opposing attorney. I had been dealing with child custody issues for a couple years, never with an attorney, and I am really not the outspoken person. I am so glad to have had Alan fall into my path! My fiancé was actually the one who had a consult, but Alan was willing to hear my case as well. I went with his advice, r...eady to pounce at court in my own, only to have the judge continue the case without hearing anything I had planned to say... AGAIN!!! I went a couple months, just waiting for the next hearing, trying to figure out what I was going to do, when, by the love and support of my family, I was able to see Alan again. He was ready to take my case and told me not to worry, it may take a couple rounds, but we’d get what we asked for. He was quick to get all necessary paperwork filed, gave me a great pep talk, kept telling me that it’ll all be over soon and not to worry (multiple times, haha. I tend to freak out a lot). Just by sitting in one hearing, he could read the defendant and tell me exactly what to expect and how to go about the whole deal. He was spot on! We went in the last two hearings blazing. He’s always to the point and makes sure we cover everything we need to, while making sure that YOU are okay with the path that he is paving for you. Very professional but also very easy to talk to.
