One of that worst attorney’s walking that earth, not just Maui. Last thing I heard was that a judge put him in jail after a child confessed he bribed her and her siblings with “a trip to Disneyland” if they would tell lies to the family court judge saying “mommy choked them”. Ranken was representing ...the father who was trying to obtain custody. Jeeessh.

I allege, Anthony, was not prepared for our hearing with the Judge. He said, that he thought the other attorney was kidding, really ! I wasn't even suppose to be there, but, I did go just to listen. When he realized that he was not prepared he panicked called me to testify under oath, I was no...t prepared at all, it was horrible. The opposing council brought up information that had nothing to do with my case, anything to distract the judge from the facts , Anthony didn't even ask me about it, it was all lies and I didn't even get a chance to stop the lies before the judge heard them. Anthony did a horrible job, the judge threw the book at me and almost put me in jail and it was small claims court , she was mad ! I was 100 % innocent, I was the victim. Consider this, the other attorney won and It was on 100% lies. After court I asked for almost $5,000. back , he refused, he is a horrible attorney, stay away.

- He approached us. - Refused to do any discovery. - Refused to do any depositions. - Threw every deadline we had. - Verbally abusive using vulgar language. - Known throughout Maui for being a crook. - Kept taking our money. - He did whatever opposing attorneys told him to do. - Altered evid...ence. - Found out license was suspended after filing as Pro Per. - Had been suspended for years. - Opposing firm reinstated his license as our case was thrown. - Opposing firm bragged about having Rankin in their pocket. - This attorney cannot be trusted and should be behind bars!
