I was in the middle of closing on a vacant lot in Kamuela when it was discovered that the property hadn’t properly gone through probate after the passing of the sellers father. We have had many other obstacles from the county that we’ve worked through leading up to opening title and probate felt like... another mountain to climb. I hired Ivana to assist me in having my uncle's Canadian Will probated in Hawaii as he owned a vacation condo and a parcel of land. On very short notice, Ivana was able to have the Will probated in Hawaii which included filing an Application for Issuance of Acknowledgment of Authority and receiving ...an Acknowledgment of Authority as well as preparing Affidavits re: Sale of Real Property for the two real estate holdings, and dealing with Escrow regarding the sales. Ivana was able to assist me without actually meeting in person, which was ideal since I live in Canada. I was selling property on the Big Island owned by my grandparents who left the property to my mother, myself and 3 brothers. Due to legal issues with Escrow/Title we had to go to probate. The Title Co referred me to Ivana who was great to work with. After I explained my situation, she informed me of ...my legal options and we chose a strategy. After my dad passed away, then his wife, I went to HI, I'm from CA, to take care of some business and one of them was to consult with an Attorney. Had it not been for a will that was created almost 30 years ago, I would never have met Ivana. She was referred to us by another attorney who was no lon...ger handling probate cases. I could not have been given a better person to work with. Ivana was very professional from the moment I spoke with her.
