I have been licensed to practice law for 37 years. My family moved to Waimea full time in 1968, while I was still in high school. I remained in Honolulu to finish up at Punahou. After college and law school, I practiced Water Law in Colorado, then Admiralty Law in Honolulu. I moved to Waimea in 1986, after marrying Doug Hiller, who was the first orthopedic surgeon at the then new North Hawaii Community Hospital. I ran his orthopedic practice for many years, and then opened up a small Elder Law practice. I am also a licensed Realtor with Elite Pacific Properties. My approach to legal problems is to find the most cost-effective and least stressful resolution.
