I would highly recommend Ms. Gemma-Rose Poland Soon from Greg Ryan & Associates to anyone who is going through a divorce and/or child custody issues. Going through a divorce with a child is already one of the hardest things I had to go through especially when things are not amicable. When I was goi...ng though my divorce (which took almost a year and a half) I was with another attorney at a another law firm. I felt ok about the outcome of my divorce but I also felt that my previous attorney could have fought harder with the issues that I was facing. Last year, almost 6 years after my divorce was finalized I was served with papers from my ex-husband taking me back to court. It was a VERY stressful situation and the emotions and uncertainty from before came back instantly. As soon as I received the papers my first thought was that I needed to call the attorney who previously represented me. I mean I didn't know any better. I just knew that I really didn't want to go back to the attorney who represented me before. I wanted someone who would be strong but kind and someone who would stick up for me and my daughter and would not back down from the issues I knew was coming my way. I was referred to Gemma by a friend who knew my situation and felt like Gemma would be a good fit for me. After our first meeting I knew that Gemma was the person I needed!! What was supposed to maybe take a few months to resolve turned into almost 8 months in and out of court. I truly cannot thank Gemma enough for ALL that she has done for me. She was with me through everything!! My tears, fears and frustrations. She listened to me and what I wanted. She guided me through all that I had to do and had A LOT of patience with. With every decision I had to make I knew that I could fully trust Gemma. I valued her knowledge and her experience. She didn't treat like I was just a client paying her. She cared about my daughter and my future. I’m unsure if I will ever need to go back to court but at least my first thought won’t have to be “who do I call”.
