I reached out to Mirtha to get help with legal representation for a child custody case. It took a couple of months to get a consultation, but that was just due to her having so many cases at the time. Ms Oliverios was hired by me on 2/1/17 and I fired her for inadequate representation after she did absolutely nothing but continue my case because she had a high profile trial going on at the time. Within 20 days (30 altogether but did not do anything due to high profile trial) for the first 10 days,... Ms Oliveros racked up my bill to over $5000 of the $ 7000 retainer she said she needed to take my case! I GOT NOTHING WITH $5000 in 20 days so I fired her and needed to take out another loan for a new attorney. Thankfully the new one was honest and adequate as far as legal representation. In those 20 days , she found a way to rack up $5000 + while she worked for me! I am going to the ODC and will also have to take other avenues to force the return of my money from Ms Oliveros. Just letting others who are looking for a lawyer .......to know she is a thief!
