Biography
John Hyatt is a highly skilled and seasoned attorney. His civil practice focuses primarily on issues facing small and medium sized business, estate planning, business succession, property development and wealth preservation. In his criminal practice he has represented clients in hundreds of matters including multiple homicides, aggravated sexual assault, drug offenses, computer crimes, and serious property crimes.
John was awarded a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the U.S. Army’s prestigious Judge Advocate General’s School and Legal Center.
John is well versed in business and financial topics. He was engaged by one client to serve as President of a new venture. Under John’s leadership the company secured exclusive contracts with Ingram Micro, the world’s largest IT distributor, grew from inception to over $20 million in annual revenues, achieved a work force of 30 employees plus additional contractors, occupied a 32,000 sq ft facility in southern California, and successfully developed a suite of proprietary software.
John is a member of both the Hawaii State Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He is also a CFA Candidate with the Association of Investment Management and Research.
John continues to serve his country and the State of Hawaii as a proud member of the Hawaii National Guard.
