I am so grateful to have had Attorney Alita de Asis by my side during my divorce. From the moment I got off the phone with Alita after my free consultation, I knew she would be the one that I will be hiring to help me with my divorce and custody battle just by the connection we had. Alita was a referral from close friend who raved about her excellence in service. During my first consult with Her I could already tell that she cares a lot for her clients and I was in need of switching over to a female who could understand where I was coming from as a mother or as a primary parent.... What a stood out for me with Alita is that she is very detailed, organized, and honest. She would always make time for me even if it was in evening hours she was willing to be flexible for that working parent. I was looking for someone to listen to me and put action behind it not just hear me and wing it the day of hearings. She came into my case a year in a half into divorce and was able to help settle it in one hearing. Alita was very professional from the start. With a flexible schedule we were able to meet evenings or even mornings on holidays to talk about the case. She was very organized and even when I didn't know what to say she asked the right questions to get me on track. In my divorce my ex had a lot of neg...ative evidence against me, and Alita would always remind me that we would be prepared to fight if needed but it was an uphill battle. She prepared a extensive and impressive position statement and on the day we had a motion to set for trial my ex finally settled. And I received everything I wanted and felt I deserved in the divorce. For two years we were separated and I tried to settle outside of court my ex wouldn't have it. I came to Alita with a little over 6 weeks till the motion to set and she got it done. Besides her professionalism she is a mother, and I feel she does care about her clients.
