In 1997, Anthony and his wife made the decision to move to a small town in Northern California to raise their children and practice Family Law. They didn’t know which small town, but they were confident they would find the perfect place to spend the rest of their lives. After spending 10 minutes in Weaverville and visiting the historic Courthouse, he and his wife made the decision to move. Three months later, they moved to Trinity County.
From 1998 – 2001, Anthony was employed by a private non-profit organization assisting victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. In 2001, Anthony opened the Law Office of Anthony S. Alpert. Concurrent with opening his office, Anthony was also hired as the Child Support Attorney for Trinity County, working for the Trinity County Department of Child Support Services collecting child support for Trinity County and the custodial parents requesting their services.
Since 1994, approximately 95% of Anthony ’s practice has been in the field of Family Law. Anthony has handled over one thousand Family Law cases, involving everything from simple modifications of child support to complex multiday trials involving expert witness and technical aspects of the law. Anthony represents women, men, grandparents and guardians with care, compassion and competence.
Mr. Alpert maintains a full time staffed office in Weaverville, California. Mr. Alpert maintains malpractice insurance and keeps up to date on all changes in California Family Law.

I endorse this lawyer. Without reservation, I recommend Anthony Alpert. He is who I call first when I need help on a complicated family law matter. There are a ton of lawyers, but he and his office are professional, ethical and with expert knowledge.

I am pleased to endorse Mr. Alpert for his competence and professionalism in his Family Law practice in Trinity County. I have known Anthony as a colleague and friend for more than 10 years and am impressed by his knowledge of the law and his abundant zeal in representing his clients. I often consult informally with him on Family Law matters related to my own practice (criminal defense) and do not hesitate to refer people who need competent Family Law representation to him. He is a valued member of the local legal community.
