Take the money

This is a public defender hired by the courts why would you pay her $295.00 an hour to represent you when she is in the judge's and d.a.s office wheeling and dealing also she does not let you know there is a conflict of interest which is illegal especially in a case which you are fighting against one... of her previous client's and won why would she go against a winning case to contradict herself by trying to win your case too when it involves someone she has represented in the past? An attorney you pay cash for does not withold evidence from the courts that is in your favor nor does she neglect to tell you the case brought against you has been dismissed for years. When you pay an attorney they must be consistant in the amount charged not adding on charges to make sure you don't get a refund of unused deposited money. To lose someone file in the middle of a trial is ineffective assistance of counsel and an acquital should be ordered. Evidence entered into a trial not relating to should be objected to. How as a paid attorney does a client have a legal defense when your attorney is working for the other parties benefit and won't admit to losing case file during trial. Who does this to a paying client. Especially when payment is made in advance and you have no way of getting money back for unused portion or ineffective assistance causing you to lose case because laws and defenses are not provided. If the Judge and the plaintiff have the judicial files on notice and your attorney has your originals but cannot be admitted into evidence because she can't find them, is pretty sad. Then not filing a responsive brief which every defendant is entitled to for closing argument and Lisa Muto submits nothing in argument of course the plaintiff is going to win because basically Lisa agreed to everything Plaintiffs attorney claims in his closing brief. by not filing a rebuttal. I personally did all legal research and prepared points and authorities all Ms. Muto had to do was stand by me in trial to object &sustain basic attorney lango. Id of done better pro per. Then immediately after losing case I get thrown a release of Attorney form so she is not responsible for appeal procedures. Well of course I want to know fees for showing up in court for the 4 hr hearing and she charged me over $3000.00. She hiked her fees up to $295.00 an hr. Also added false phone calls, meetings, research, reviewing my documents presented, (well where the heck are they if you reviewed you they must be somewhere) It's pretty bad when the defendant knows more about objections and points and authorities then the obviously uneducated attorney. I hope you enjoy the new carpeting my attorney fees were spent on. My opponent fees for entire case filing fees summons order, briefs, argument trial, proof of services fee, the whole process was less than $2000.00. Private Attorney at that. My case was already processed by myself all I needed was assistance in the court room basic no fees involved no brain usage just common sense. So watch out when you go in and ask what the hourly charge is do not give all upfront money supposedly $2800.00 was a retainer and funds not used returned. Keep an eye on accounting fees and what your actually charged for consultation is $85.00 for first visit explains case etc. So no additional fees after she takes case for reviewing docs are necessary she already knows of case and wouldn't take it if she didn't all the additional fees thrown in like 15 minute visit before trial she'll turn into 2.5 hrs She sneaks in additional hours, a real piece of work & when she leaves the courtroom good or bad results you will not be acknowledged or spoken to again she got her money and has no further use of you.
