Jeffrey Raymond Boone

My family member and I had Mr. Boone process a pourover trust in early 2021. Upon my family member's passing in 10/2021, I'd asked Mr. Boone what was req'd of me to process the estate property. Mr. Boone said nothing was req'd, as it was all laid out in the pourover trust. A few mos. passed and ...I'd contacted the county assessor's office and everything was still in limbo-no title transfer. I met w/ Mr. Boone again and he said he was mistaken and forgot about the affidavit of death needing to be submitted and subsequent steps to complete. Next, the affidavit of death was submitted. He'd said once p.work was rec'd from the county, the only steps needed were to transfer property from trust in deed to me. I rec'd incorrect p.work from the county from him and he said he'd work w/ the county to find out what's going on and let me know what's going on. I've acquiesced to his personal/work schedules to meet as his time allows to complete, but I have not rec'd follow up. Calls immediately go to voicemail and voicemail is full. Time lapsed since my family member's death is over 8 mos. and still no conclusion. The few times I had spoken with him previously on the phone and briefly, I did have the impression I was an annoyance. A few times he'd asked me to meet him at his office and he wasn't there. I imagine he could easily be a great attorney, if he has a vested interest in whomever he's working with. I'm a client with a family member who's passed and I'm assuming by actions thus far, perhaps not big $$ and not worth the effort to see to closure.
