Biography
David M. Brady was born and raised in San Francisco with an undergraduate degree in sociology with a minor in history. He also attended the University of San Francisco School of Law and graduated in 1976. He was admitted to the California Bar in December 1976. For a short time, he practiced with a general practice in San Francisco before joining the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where he was employed for six years. He then moved to Shasta County in 1981 to work for the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office. After approximately six years, he left the District Attorney’s Office and joined the firm of Hanna, Brophy, McLean, McAleer, and Jensen. While working for the law firm he became a partner and served as a partner for approximately 15 years. This firm specialized in workers’ compensation law. Upon retirement, he has teamed up with Dennis Cowan and now specializes in bankruptcy law.
