John Joseph Sage

I was concerned utilizing the services of the Office of the Public Defender, because their caseloads here in Yolo are uncontrollably high. When I had to petition the court to have my private attorney removed as he had sort of vanished, I was introduced to Mr. Sage, and he made time for me that first ...day to hear the story just to assure me someone cared.. though I couldn't get a meeeting with him til a few days before my next hearing, I had a 3:30 appt that went til 5:30 going through it all - and I felt ridiculous for thinking the thoughts Ihad before - this man had been working on my case, had people working on my case, watched a 2 hours surveillance tape more times than I did I think - all in the week and a half that I hadn't talked to him. He ended up being, apologies, damn amazing, and along with some critical changes in the law I ended up with a better deal than the only deal I said I'd take... lets just say the deal I said I'd take was a Pre-Plea Diversion Program with classes and so forth. He was quick, extremely knowledgeable, extremely honest, and down to earth - but most importantly, very effective at his career. Thank you Mr. Sage.
