Biography
Lawrence A. Puritz began his career representing big insurance companies as a personal injury defense attorney. He practiced law in this role with his prior law firm, Matthews, Fuqua & Puritz, for the better part of 20 years. As time went on, Mr. Puritz began to question the stance that insurance companies took when someone who had been legitimately injured and sought to recover damages. He found that the position big insurance companies applied to nearly all injury claims was adversarial, even when their insured's actions had caused great harm to another party.
That experience, accompanied by a growing compassion for the injury victims, led Mr. Puritz to a decision to open his own law firm in 1998. Rather than continuing to defend insurance companies, The Law Offices of Lawrence A. Puritz was established as a personal injury plaintiff's law firm, one that would advocate for personal injury victims and assist them in recovering the compensation they deserved.
In 1998, Lawrence A. Puritz left Matthews, Fuqua, & Puritz and founded The Law Offices of Lawrence A. Puritz- a law firm only representing personal injury victims. The combination of Mr. Puritz's experience and in-depth understanding of personal injury litigation, accompanied by the knowledge and experience of other attorneys at the firm, make The Law Offices of Lawrence A. Honest Attorney
