I spent about $7,000 with this firm and have virtually nothing to show for it on the central issue in my case. The main issue involved determining whether my former spouse was receiving income from a trust. Despite this being identified as a key issue, formal discovery was not pursued early, and i...nterrogatories were sent without requesting important financial information. As a result, key evidence was delayed. There were also serious concerns with document handling. Financial records were produced without properly redacting personal transactions, even though privacy concerns had been clearly discussed beforehand. This led to unnecessary disclosure of private financial information unrelated to the case. After consulting with other attorneys, I learned that several basic discovery steps could have been taken much earlier. I ultimately had to hire another attorney and take additional steps myself just to move the case forward. I also requested a supervisory review of the billing and the return of my remaining retainer balance, but my concerns have not been meaningfully addressed. Advice to others: If you are considering this firm for a family law or divorce matter, ask very specific questions about discovery strategy, billing practices, and whether you will be able to review documents before they are sent out. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution.
