Rachel E. Renno

Rachel Reno is by far the most unprofessional and unreliable attorney I have ever worked with. Besides her rude and inattentive demeanor, Her demand letter was full of mistakes and typos. Once I fixed these typos and added in my comments, she told me she already sent the demand letter (without my per...mission). Once the DFEH became involved, there was, again, zero communication. The person assigned to our case called me, saying he had been trying to contact Rachel to set up an interview. A few weeks later, the DFEH called me saying they had been trying to reach Rachel for the appointment she scheduled. Rachel didn't inform me of the interview, and on top of that, she was 30 minutes late for it. When I received the final letter from the DFEH, I found incriminating evidence from the notes I took, even though she said she had already submitted the final copy to them without my comments. As an attorney, it his her job to sift through the evidence provided by the plaintiff. Instead, she lied to me about submitting the final copy, because this evidence was straight from the notes I took that she said was too late to submit. She clearly must've passed on the notes to the DFEH without even looking at it, and this evidence contradicted our case and was ultimately the reason why the closed our case.
