I got a dui in NY 5 years ago. I blew a .17 and had a collision, first offense. Even though the charge was reduced to a traffic violation, I recently had to disclose to the CA BRN this past May. I was recently convicted of a DUI in California while being a traveling nurse. I blew a high BAC level of .21. Nicole was nothing short of a life saver. I was an out-of-state RN with a California nursing license who made the mistake of drinking and driving. When I was much young (15 years ago) I had a few alcohol-related misdemeanors and was worried that I might not be allowed to sit for examination and become a Nurse.
