Excellent Lawyer

I am a physician and received a complaint from medical board of California on behalf of a parent whose child was given wrong vaccines by medical assistant who failed to review my correct orders in EMR. Of note, I work for a big organization and training of medical assistants in not my job responsibil...ity as I do not own the clinic. Fortunately, the complaint case was closed without any further action needed in my case. Niclole Valentine did an excellent job in representing my case and explaining to the board how the error committed was not a result of my incompetence but highlighted some operational issues in clinic where extra steps needed to be taken to ensure patient safety. She also did a fabulous job in explaining to board how clinic had taken remediation steps to prevent errors in future. You are responsible for being completely honest with her and provide her all possible and necessary supporting documentation to represent your case. She is easy to communicate with and is very honest with you. Overall, I am very grateful and satisfied that I used her services and would definitely recommend her other medical professionals.

New Mexico Registered Nurse (CA Reinstatement Pending)

I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with Nicole. I have practice continuously for over 25yrs. My License was suspended, then later revoked. Infractions occurred in 2002. I originally petitioned for reinstatement through another attorney. Nicole picked up the case on extremely short notice a...fter my original attorney became ill and unable to continue. Needless to say, I was pretty discouraged. Nicole was not the first alternate I considered. However, she assured me of her competence in this area of law. She made quick work of familiarizing herself with the nuances of a pretty complicated case. After, we met to discuss her thoughts. What sealed the deal was that, unlike others I had considered, she did not begin our discussion with what couldn't be accomplished. She simply stated what her experiences were with similar cases. Then she asked me: "What Do You Want? What Is a Win for You?". I told her. Her response: "Let's Go For It Then!!!". I should add that I have quite strong opinions. My personality is "as a matter of fact, straight forward, in your face". Nicole is a Lightning Bolt. Her personality is similar. She picked up on those traits and smoothed those rough edges to help me deliver a more pleasant, acceptable presentation. She encouraged "my truth", all of it. Her coaching is straight forward and comprehensive. She pulled no punches in explaining exactly what she required of me. I appreciated that. I entered the Hearing prepared and somewhat calmed by her presence. She spent the time during the Hearing Prep to make it so. Because of her approach, nothing surprised me there. Long story short, my license is being reinstated outright; no further action! My advice: Practice well within policy and procedures while delivering recognized Standards of Care. Know your Scope of Practice and do not deviate. If problems arise, call Nicole Valentine and listen to her. Enjoy This Wonderful Calling Nurse !!!

Phenomenal lawyer and legal counsel for DUI with collision

Nicole Valentine was incredible and an angel to me during one of the worst years of my life. I have been an RN for 18 years and was worried about losing my nursing license due to a high BAC DUI and collision. I felt terrible about what happened and Nicole counseled me through and represented me. She ...was essential in helping me with knowing what to do and working with the BRN. She was very honest throughout it all so I knew what to expect. It is a miracle that the BRN settled for a public reproval (instead of probation)..I am able to stay at the same hospital that I have been working at for so long and this did not change my working conditions at all. I have learned my lesson and made many changes in my life because of this incident but could not have done it without Nicole. She is simply the best!

"I have referred several nurses in trouble with the BRN (DUI, stealing medications, etc.) to Nicole - all of them have been happy with her representation and results. I've been impressed enough to refer other lawyers to her. She works well with other attorneys to achieve a result that is good both on the criminal front and the licensing front."
