Guardian Angel

It was October of last year when I received a complaint about my license and I received a letter that they were investigating me for that and when an investigator on behalf of BRN contacted me through mail. I didn't know what to expect but I quickly googled/binged about ways to defend your self in an... investigation from BRN and I was so glad I found the RNGUARDIAN website and immediately sent an email to Jennifer Coalson-Perez. She responded to me in a timely manner and after that my case was assigned to Atty. Nicole Valentine. Immediately after that I was contacted by Atty. Nicole, heard my side of the story and from that point on I knew I was in good hands. She listened to my concerns, gave straightforward answers and allayed my fears. She was open, give me clear advice, and even if we haven't met up in person, I knew that she was fighting hard for me. From October 2016 to June 2017 was what I considered "stressful time" of my life thus far but she was there to give encouraging words and those words she said "I am here for you" means so much to me. She helped me construct my detailed statement to the board, gathered letter of recommendations from my peers and co-workers and kept me up-to-date with the latest development of my case. Then a surprise came from my mail on June 12, 2017. I came home from work, I was so tired but once I saw the letterhead of where that mail came from my heart was pounding so fast. I immediately read it and it was a citation and fine from the BRN worth $500.00. I immediately sunk to my knees in tears and let out a sigh of relief in the end because the "most stressful time of my life thus far" came to an end. I would recommend Nicole 100% to anyone who wants a kind of defense that will help save your career especially from the BRN CA-one of the toughest board in the land. And from what the others have said about her, from being a hero to an excellent attorney, she is the epitome of a guardian angel for me. Thank you RNGUARDIAN and most especially thank you Atty. Nicole Valentine for that amazing experience that I had with you.

Saved my career!

By the time I hired Nicole, I was depressed and overwhelmed with the previous ineptitude and incompetence of 3 other lawyers I had hired and fired and 7 consultations, not to mention the $10K+ I had already spent. The accusation against my RN license was for endangering public safety 4 years prior in... an auto accident. I had fallen asleep driving home after multiple night shifts. I also was taking prescription medication at the time which was considered reckless. The BRN was threatening to revoke my license and my previous lawyer had negotiated for probation and a hearing with the BRN where the ruling could go any which way. I fired him!! Thank God I did. Nicole listened to my concerns and suggestions for my defense and she agreed to and/or had the similar/better suggestions for my defense. Although she could not promise I would get a reproval, we took the steps necessary to make the best possible case to show the BRN that I should get one. Nicole was kind, patient, and respectful. Things you would expect someone working for you would be (not the case with the other lawyers). So if your gut is saying, I don't think my lawyer cares about me or has my best interest at heart--RUN! And hire Nicole! In the end, I got the best possible outcome. I kept my license, no probation just the reproval. Best of all, I have peace of mind and can continue to care for my patients without restrictions and the stigma attached to BRN punishments. The fine and lawyers fees are costly, but if you are able to read this review and hire Nicole first, you will save yourself so much money.

Thank you, Nicole! You saved my license!

When I received a letter from the BRN about a complaint against my license, I was devastated! Being the breadwinner for my family, 7 months pregnant with my 2nd child and working a full-time job, I felt overwhelmed with stress! Especially since I was not aware that this had been brewing without my kn...owledge for the past couple of years! I immediately started searching for a lawyer and hired Nicole Valentine. She was an open-book from the first conversation I had with her, which was 1.5 hours long! That's unheard of! She thoroughly explained all aspects of the case. I am so thankful to her for being so patient with me. I would call her crying, worried about the outcome, and she would attentively listen to all my concerns. Not only did she handle my case professionally, but most importantly, her experience proved that she knew what she was doing. The 3 year probation that was initially ordered was dismissed and replaced with public reproval. She saved my license, my job, and most importantly, the right to practice as an RN as I rightfully deserve to do so! I highly advise all my fellow nurses out there who receive these devastating letters from the BRN to pick up the phone and connect with Nicole Valentine.

BEYOND WORDS

Where do I even start? Nicole was assigned to my case about two years ago by her colleague due to him having an overload of cases. when this happened I was afraid and didn't know what to expect BUT when the first time I spoke with Nicole, I knew I was in good hands. I can say Nicole is very upfront ...and honest and doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to letting her client know what to expect. she knew my case was going to be TOUGH & in her words "an uphill battle" BUT she WON !!! Nicole took her time with my case, she LISTENED TO ME, she advised me, she explained every possible outcome to full extent so that I would never be confused. Most of all, Nicole honestly and genuinely CARED ABOUT ME!! I can honestly say every moment she spend on my case was genuine and with special care. Nicole became more of a friend throughout this whole process and I hope I never need her again BUT would definitely call her in a heart beat if I or anyone I know needs an amazing, smart, strong, and honest attorney!!! She fought for me as though she was fighting for herself and she let me vent to her when I needed to, she let me cry to her if I needed to and she let me laugh when she knew I needed to. I can use all 4000 words this review allows to describe how great Nicole is. I am very grateful that her colleague chose the BEST person for the job to take over my case. I can say with great confidence that I believed in Nicole after our very first conversation. Nicole was there for me during and after my proceedings and hearing her excitement in the voicemail she left me when she got the decision regarding my case made me cry instantly. I can feel her genuine happiness for ME. I cant thank her enough for all the hard work and long hours she put into this case. She did her research when it came to the end and was very short and to the point in her closing brief arguments. I would recommend anyone in need of any type of criminal , administrative and especially employment and labor to call Nicole immediately. I promise you all , you will NOT REGRET it. It will be the best call you can make for yourself. I know now every attorney wins ALL their cases and that is another great asset about Nicole, even if she doesn't win she is very open and upfront of all the possible outcomes. I had a very hard case to beat and I will be the first one to admit it, BUT Nicole did it!!! WE WON .. this was the hardest two years of my life and knowing I had Nicole to turn to and on my side made it so much easier for me to get through. No words can ever describe how grateful I am for having you there for me Nicole and I owe you big time for being so good at your job and just honestly caring and showing it !! THANK YOU SO MUCH , I am glad to call you my friend now instead of my attorney :) I hope everyone that reads this review and hires you so they can feel what I feel and felt about you and your work from day one! Thank you for every minute you put into this case and Thank you for letting me know it will be ALRIGHT, and Thank you for being so good at what you do! sincerely , Adrian

She helped keep me calm during the most fearful time of my life!! I hope to NEVER have to utilize her services again, but if I do, I know I wi...ll be in excellent hands.
