Attorney Naresh Virdi practices in the areas of immigration law, family & divorce, and business law. He obtained his legal education from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with emphasis in immigration law, and health & elder law. Mr. Virdi actively engaged in the community outreach legal clinics supported by the law school.
Under the supervision of Professor Blake Nordahl at the Community Legal Services Immigration Clinic, Mr. Virdi has handled cases relating to naturalization, asylum, deferred action, employment based immigration, family based immigration, and various non-immigrant visas.
Under the supervision of Professor Melissa Brown at the Community Legal Services Elder & Health Law Clinic, Mr. Virdi has drafted wills, power of attorney, advanced health care directives for the elderly clients. He has also reviewed their Medicare eligibility applications and denials.
In addition to his legal education and experience, Mr. Virdi has extensive academic and professional experience spanning over a decade, in the area of health care and general management. Mr. Virdi has Master in Business Administration / Master in Hospital Administration, and Master in Public Health. He has worked as senior manager and independent consultant with law enforcement agencies and healthcare organizations such as Kaiser Permanente.
Mr. Virdi is an active member of the California State Bar. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
As an immigrant himself, Mr. Virdi appreciates and understands the issues being faced by the clients seeking immigration assistance. Having lived in different cultures, he understands the importance of cultural values in the life of an individual. Because of his multi-cultural exposure, Mr. Virdi is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. I am satisfied with the work that Mr. Virdi had done so far. He appears to be well versed in the laws pertaining to my case. My only complaint is I wish he was a little better with communication. Some calls and emails went unanswered.
