Bethania Maria

My name is Bethania Maria, formerly known as Bethania Maria Gonzalez. I have been practicing Immigration Law since 2002 and have dealt with immigration issues most of my life.

Before I became an Immigration Attorney, I was a University/College Professor for nearly 30 years. During my free time, I often helped relatives, friends, and students complete their immigration paperwork.

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. I am fully Spanish/English bilingual. As an immigrant, I understand what it takes to gain legal immigration status in the USA. I can also relate to the struggles and the frustration of dealing with the immigration system.

My work background is very diverse. I hold a double Bachelor’s Degree in Education and School Counseling, a Master’s Degree in Rural Sociology, a Doctorate Degree in Urban Sociology, and a Doctorate Degree in Law. I am committed to helping immigrants, women, children, gays/lesbians, older people, poor people, and people with disabilities.
