He is a graduate of UCLA, University of the Pacific, McGeorge Law School, and has received a Diploma in Advanced International Legal Studies from the University of Salzburg, Austria. A member in good standing with the State Bar of California, International and American Bar Associations, Consumer Attorneys of California, the Capital City Attorneys of California, and the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA), Ostwald also serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
