Ian David Woo

I had Mr Ian Woo to represent me on a unique case/accusation filed against me by my previous employer to the Ca board of licensed vocational nursing, Mr Woo knew exactly what/where to focus on in providing proof that these are false accusations towards me. Ian was very supportive and communicative th...e whole time, even when on vacation, he was still on top of things , he kept me updated and checked in on me, helping me prepare and walked me through the whole proceeding. I felt very much supported and really cared for during this very stressful period, answering all my questions patently and in a timely manner and in a way that would help with my anxieties. The accusation/case was dismissed and NO further disciplinary actions were made, and i could happily continue practicing my profession and do what i love, being of service to others. I am truly grateful for the support and services of Mr Woo and the Team of Goyette Ruano & Thompson. Ian is awesome. Actually he is ever positive adjective in the English language. I was placed on the Medi-Cal exclusion list related to me deciding to surrender my CA RN license related to a disciplinary action in the state of Arkansas that occurred in 2014. I have been an Advanced Practice Nurse in A...rkansas since 2007. My career as a RN started in CA in 1993. Unbeknownst to me surrendering my RN license in CA was not a good decision. It caused me to be placed on the Medi-Cal exclusion list. I was on the list for six years before the state of Arkansas discovered my name. If you are a provider, and you are on any state or federal list that excludes you from all states. What a freaking nightmare. No one in Arkansas understood why I was on the list or what I needed to do to get off the list. Thank God for a dear friend of mine who found Ian on You Tube. Let me tell you if you find yourself on the Medi-Cal exclusion list call Ian. Ian explained to me this process could take months; per Arkansas style "Y'all" he got it done in 3 weeks. I am a provider at a local community hospital in the Emergency Department. I do not earn PTO, It was imperative that this problem be fixed so I could return to work. What I really loved is his timely responses to all of my phone calls and e-mails. HIRE IAN!!!!!!!! I would shout it from a mountain top.

The BON sent me an email regarding my case and that I need to respond within a month. ATTY IAN WOO helped me by responding to the BON. I am so grateful that the BON replied that I am no longer be questioned nor further to be interrogated. I strongly recommended ATTY IAN WOO when your license at stake.... Kudos to you ATTY IAN WOO.

Ian was awesome in everything he did for me! While I was travel nursing in California, I had a board complaint against my license for an unfounded claim, every travelers worst nightmare. We ended up having to go to hearing for this and the judge found that there was no evidence to support the boards ...complaint. He did a great job of making sure I was prepared for hearing, coaching me through everything and aggressively advocating for me. Every time I needed to speak with Ian he was promptly available and is like talking to a friend, nor did I get billed for legal time for every phone call or email. Made all of the legal proceedings easy to understand for someone who has never been through anything like this in their life. I would highly recommend Ian and his firm if you find your license in jeopardy!
