Stephen Conrad Ruehmann

Steve began his practice as an associate in the Sacramento branch office of a large midwestern law firm, leaving to become a partner at the Hunter Richey firm in 1995. Steve served as Of Counsel to one of Sacramento's largest and most prestigious firms, McDonough Holland & Allen, from 2001 to 2004, when he formed Stern, Van Vleck & Ruehmann, also in Sacramento. The Ruehmann Law Firm, is the distillation of 18 years experience.

Education

Steve Ruehmann has been practicing federal and state civil litigation in Sacramento since 1993, when he finished his legal studies as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California Davis, School of Law. Steve collected his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University and his undergraduate degree from Sacramento State University.

Over the course of his career, Steve has represented individuals and businesses in a wide variety of legal disputes, including those involving real estate, lending, commercial transactions, business disputes and regulatory matters. He has handled numerous cases on trial and on appeal, and has several published opinions. Steve is a frequent guest presenter to various groups and is actively involved in his community, recently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Crossroads Diversified Services, a multi-million dollar charitable enterprise employing people with disabilities.
