I was VERY lucky and am thankful to have been referred to Ryan. I had turned to Yelp for my DUI and a very highly rated and reviewed lawyer sent me to Ryan since my DUI was in Fairfield. That lawyer's expertise is Sac, while Ryan has expertise with both the Sac and Fairfield courts. I'm sure R...yan could work well anywhere, but having experience in a particular jurisdiction is valuable. I was not driving while intoxicated (or buzzed) and wanted to win to keep my record clear. Ryan fought for my case and got me a dismissal in the end. He was incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, helpful, concerned, is unbelievably nice, and was confident going to trial. I had been charged with two DUI's and Ryan helped me tremendously. At the time I had no criminal record and ultimately had no clue about what to do and how to handle the situation. The thing about Ryan was that he is extremely personable and straight forward so I never felt rushed or like I was being... treated like business as usual. I could tell he really cared about helping me. He walked me through everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions despite them being repetitive and redundant at times, he was always understanding and knew what to do. For my particular circumstances, I was unfortunately not able to have the DUI's dropped but due to his in depth understanding of the law and really just the effort he put into helping me, I am not in jail - which is where I would be now if not for him.
