Do your research before hiring
I retained this attorney for representation in a family law matter. Based on my personal experience, I was not satisfied with the representation I received and ultimately lost confidence in the handling of my case. Because of that experience, I would not personally retain this attorney again. ...
This is a client from many years ago who, unfortunately, frequently submits negative reviews over and over, as it has become her goal to deter others from Ms. Trigger's representation. She has become harassing, even coming to Ms. Trigger's home. She was embroiled in a contentious family law matter where she vehemently objected to the father of her child being part of the child's life and became convinced that our office, the judge, and even local law enforcement had all been "bought off". Despite our office's constant efforts and pleas for her to focus on her child, she continues to focus on Ms. Trigger even years later. Ms. Trigger suffered an extensive personal loss. One that has made her a more understanding and empathetic attorney toward clients enduring their own personal tragedies. This will be clear when you speak with Ms. Trigger directly. Also look up her work with news networks, high-profile matters, and extensive volunteer work to receive a full picture which extends beyond Ms. Trigger's past personal losses. We wish "Nikki" the best and hope at some point she will finally move.

Beware of this attorney
Beware of this Lawyer , I ran into her at the Center for fathers and family , Which is a program to help fathers with fatherhood , Michelle was there giving lower priced family lawyer services . I thought everything was great until my first cvourt date , I was late , just as my childs mother had been...
I teach at the Center for Fathers and Families. I do this pro bono. Most of the gentlemen who participate are wonderful. They are engaged, dedicated, and grateful. I do not offer "lower priced services" in my classes and most certainly do not teach to gain clients. I volunteer and if someone needs assistance beyond my class, on a case-by-case basis I'm willing to assist. I do generally in such circumstances provide a steep discount because I am committed to helping my class participants. I believed this client had made progress. I truly did. Despite multiple restraining orders and criminal cases, I believed he was reformed and agreed to assist him at his hearing. He failed to appear. He says he was "late." He was not late--he just didn't show. I had taken off my whole day to assist him. He became enraged that I would not do his appeal for free. Even after explaining that an appeal is not the appropriate vehicle, he remained angry. He engaged in multiple threats. He even sent his boyfriend to threaten me at my office. I wish him the best.
