Mark Jeffrey Rosenblum

My experience as a former client of attorney Mark Jeffrey Rosenblum (CA Bar #131206) was extremely harmful and deeply disappointing. I retained Mr. Rosenblum to represent me in a Sacramento criminal matter many years ago, trusting him to protect my rights and give me accurate information regarding m...y case status. Unfortunately, his handling of my case led to severe consequences that affected nearly every part of my life. The most serious issue was his failure to correct or properly communicate my probation status. My case had been dismissed under Penal Code 1000, and I should not have been on probation. Despite this, incorrect probation information remained uncorrected for years. I later learned that this misinformation contributed directly to my wrongful arrest in Butte County in 2017. This resulted in a conviction, property seizure, emotional distress, financial devastation, and years of legal battles, including appeals that are still ongoing. All of this stemmed from a fundamental error that should never have occurred if my attorney had communicated clearly, verified records, or corrected the misinformation. Throughout this process, communication was poor and I was not guided or informed in the way a competent attorney should guide a client. The long-term impact on my life — medically, emotionally, financially, and legally — has been profound. I am sharing my personal experience so that others seeking representation can make an informed decision. My hope is that no other client goes through what I experienced. This review is based solely on my direct experience as his former client.
