Hubert Chen

Mr. Chen was the most incompetent, lying, lazy so-called attorney in history. I was falsely accused of petty theft, no record of any kind. I'm an upstanding member of my community, 49 yrs old and was facing an extremely serious sugical proceedure due to ongoing chronic health issues. There was no dir...ect evidence, no witness, no recovered concealed items. The item the procecution did have was a video missing 20 min of potentially exculpatory evidence and proving nothing in terms of showing me take or conceal anything. I was offered 4 months in jail and 6000.oo in fines. I declined and went to trial as I'm innocent. Fully expecting to win, Chen managed to screw up at every opportunity. Being a lawful citizen, I was ignorant in how unjust the justice system can be and also of law speak and of court proceedings in general; thus when I found my self found guilty, then given a 4 month PRISON term with approximately 13 grand in fines and fees alone! Mr Chen sabataged my defense. An idiot could have had that charge dropped long before it came to trial. It took the procecution months to even submit the evidence against me as they COULDN'T OPEN THE VIDEO that shows me shopping. Literally that's it. It shows me shopping, then going into a fitting room, then 20 minutes are mystery gone which happens to the the exact time that I had exited the room, replaced several items,and returned to the room. The tape picks back up with me exiting the room again, being immediately confronted by an employee, and angrily showing him the rest of the clothes I'd left in the room. Never accept this awful atty as your representative in court or you'll find yourself doing FOUR MONTHS FIR PETTY THEFT FIRST OFFENSE EVER!!!
