David Lorenz Kruckenberg

David Kruckenberg is an attorney investigator with a broad range of experience handling employment matters in both the public and private sector.

David serves as an impartial investigator for sensitive and complex complaints in the workplace. He investigates a variety of issues, including workplace harassment, whistleblower complaints and sexual misconduct.

Prior to joining Ellis Makus, David worked for a prominent labor and employment law firm in Sacramento, California, where he represented individual employees of both public and private sector employers in workplace investigations and administrative appeal proceedings. David also advised employees and labor unions about collective bargaining rights, disability and leave accommodations, wage-hour law compliance and police use of force.

David received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree from Point Loma Nazarene University.
