Biography
André M. Chernay is an associate in the Sacramento office of Klinedinst PC.
Before joining Klinedinst, Mr. Chernay had left the second largest litigation defense firm in Sacramento in 2006 to start his own law firm. In his practice, he has represented a variety of clients in the manufactured housing and motor home industries, as well as insurance carriers and their California insureds, in matters involving Magnuson-Moss and Song Beverly warranty law, automotive, product liability, construction defect, asbestos, and personal injury.
His representation of manufacturers from these industries, as both plaintiffs and defendants, brings a broad range of experience to his practice at Klinedinst.
A native of Sacramento, Mr. Chernay earned his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento. He is a member of the State Bar of California, and admitted to all state and federal courts in California. He was also admitted to the Hoopa Valley Tribal Court in 2007, and the Chemhuevi Tribal Court in 2010.
