Biography
Rebecca Schach is an Immigration Attorney with WEAVE (Women Escaping A Violent Environment). It is WEAVE's mission to provide crisis intervention and legal assistance services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. WEAVE's vision is a community free of violence and abuse. Rebecca graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and minor in Spanish. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
While in law school, Rebecca worked as a law clerk for the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) in San Francisco, California. The following year, Rebecca interned in the McGeorge School of Law Immigration Clinic where she assisted in applications for U-Visa status, VAWA and asylum. Rebecca practiced in the private sector for two years before transitioning to WEAVE.
Rebecca is admitted to the State Bar of California. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
