My Review

I don't usually leave reviews but felt that this deserved me speaking up. Brad was a nice and professional guy up front when I initially spoke with him. He assured me that he was a fighter and would do everything he could to help me out in this extremely low time in my life. That didn't happen. Inste...ad he never returned phone calls or texts I would send him, and always seemed to be on vacation when and if he would respond. He showed up for court almost 4hrs late for one hearing which was not fun for me as the judge whom was not happy kept asking were my attorney was. I called and called and as usual no response. He always seemed very intimidated by the judge and the other attorney when we would go to court, I literally had to speak up for myself at one hearing. He told me he filed paperwork that he never actually filed (Gavron warning Brad), believe me I checked. So basically I paid thousands of dollars only to find out after I signed my paperwork that important information he told me was there was in fact not there. I know you’re thinking why didn't I read it first, and I did but I'm not an attorney and didn't understand a lot of the terms that were being used, that's why we hire an attorney. I would never wish divorce on anyone and just say to anyone going through or getting ready to go through this to do your research on your attorney and make sure they have the credentials and the experience to do the job for you. Brad was not that attorney for me. This was a bad situation that just got worst due to what I felt was lack of interest of my attorney. Nice guy but I would NEVER recommend him to anyone I know going through this.

Left my case, no notice, no call...nust gone

I hured bradley smith, he reassured me that the money i oaid up front snd in cash $2000 would cover my divorce...no real assets or debts. And no custody issues. It took a year for him to up and leaf right at the end of ny default judgemennt. I called and called, went by office a few times and never g...ot calls back and office was empty. Finally, the court house employees told me he left the county but had no knowledge of how to contact him. I was emotionally drained, completely sttessed and homeless with no money to hire another attorney. Once i was able to gind a number i legt a distraught message asking him how he could do this to me? I received email back from him saying i was at fault brcsuse i left a message he didnt approve of and not to vontavt him again, sent me a substitution of attorney thst he said i had to sign and msled me my paperwork. Im not on my own hoping im doing all the paperwork right. Says u used up my money but proceeded to say he would help for more money. Im so disappointed in his service, he held my divorce in limbo for so long thst he used everything. Hopegully he doesnt do this again, destroyed my faith in attorneys
