Seasons Law was established by Lynn A. Dean and Tracy Poston Shows, who specialize in estate planning, elder law, probate and trust administration. Tracy is a 1994 graduate of the University of Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. After passing the bar, she began her legal career as an attorney with a firm specializing in political and election law. She took a break to raise her three children in their early years, and when she returned to full-time practice, Tracy changed her focus to estate planning. Tracy is an active member of the South Placer Estate Planning Council and the Estate Planning Section of the California State Bar. Establishing Seasons Law, P.C., with Lynn has given her the opportunity to develop a law practice that will serve her clients through the “seasons” of their lives. Tracy has been a regular volunteer in her community for many years and in 2015 was awarded “Placer County Pro Bono Attorney” by the Placer County Bar Association. She is a second-term board member of the South Placer Estate Planning Council and regularly presents educational seminars in her area of specialization. Tracy brings empathy, skill and compassion to her practice. She plays many roles outside of the firm — she is also a wife, mother of three children, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin and niece. Her hobby is photography, which provides a unique opportunity to record a few memorable moments with those she shares her life with.
