Law Clerk, Independent Contract Work For: Law office of Robert M. Holley, Law Office of Dennis S. Waks, Law Office of William Bonham. Fall 2014-2016

Wrote and submitted Federal Sentencing Memorandums, Formal Objections to Pre-Sentence reports, Motion to Suppress, felony DUI preliminary hearing, client meetings, expert preparation. Worked with both the Federal Defender Conflict Panel and private defense attorneys.

Law Clerk, Santa Barbara County Public Defender Office, Fall 2014  Argued several expungement hearings, 995 motions, , arraignment court, preliminary hearings, a DUI case, ability to pay, governors pardon, and sat co-chair in a sexual assault jury trial.

Law Clerk, Misdemeanor Unit, Office of the Federal Defender Eastern District of California.  Certified student attorney in the year long Federal Misdemeanor Unit.  Personally handled over 65 federal misdemeanor cases. Gained invaluable skills in trial advocacyplea negotiations, motion writing, client counseling, and trying misdemeanor cases from beginning to end. Tried two bench trials (driving on a suspended license and , trespass onto a military base)

Law clerk for the United Nations Judicial Chambers in the trial of President Radovan Karadžić, accused with several counts of war crimes and genocide against Bosnian Muslims. Wrote opinions and recommendations on the admissibility of evidence and briefed witness testimony.
