I met Christie Mitchell when she helped a friend with his divorce. I then had friends needing help with child custody and referred them to her. We needed Christie's advice on a tax matter, from the beginning I was very pleased with her ability to describe our legal situation and outline plans for ...our case. Christie was always patient and there with great advice. She has a great knowledge of the tax laws and what the best options are in many situations. She has a great knowledge of the system and what needs to be done when to expedite the case when it can be so done. With her expertise and experience we were able to get a decision from the courts that was better than we had anticipated. She was able to keep us on track from offering any more than we had to and then was able to get the decision exactly along the lines that we had requested. Christie is very responsive and accessible, and that is important to me. She is highly principled in all she does. We are thankful for her sound legal counsel and problem solving abilities. Great job on her part!

Christie has a problem with her fiduciary responsibilities to her clients. After her secretary sent the wrong case number to the 3rd party Moon Swartz & Madden, to service QUDRO, she threatened to terminate me after I discovered this error. Then told me I would have to pay 1/2 the cost of this serv...ice ($1250) after she told petitioner she must pay entire cost ($2750). Later I had to contact MSM about the over payment which they returned to petitioner. While this was happening she moved from Fair Oaks Blvd to Sunrise blvd and I was told the QUDRO documents were sent to spam folder mistakenly which was unusual because she has a dedicated AT&T account to service her business and it delayed process for over 4 months No apology, no communication and lack of integrity. She is arrogant, unprofessional and sent me a bill for $1807+interest like she thinks she’s a bank. She sent me a cease and desist email when I asked about the length of time my divorce was taking (over 2 years) Be careful of her she has a problem with the hypocritical oath of representation of her clients.
