Christie Mitchell was referred to us by a very close friend after we had struggled with a few attorneys in the past. Our situation has been ongoing for over 15 years and we are well versed in the tumultuous family court system. We met with Christie back in 2013 to review our current situation and dis...cuss the past details of our case. She reviewed the case information carefully, asked the right questions, and provided clear and concise recommendations. She provided us her opinion on how likely certain outcomes would be, no sugar coating, no fluff. If she didn't believe the case direction had a good chance of prevail, she explained why and steered us in another direction. In our case, the opposing lawyer wrote pages upon pages of fluffy opinion that in the end meant very little in the courtroom (and actually cost the other party quite a bit), while Christie wrote crisp statements with the facts that drove home the point. The opposing council filed multiple motions over and over when not obtaining the outcome that favored them and Christie was amazing at pointing this behavior out to the court with a positive outcome. She is well known in the industry and has spent enough time in the courtroom to understand each judges personalities. We have just closed out our 4 year saga and were very thankful to have Christie as our attorney along the way.

Christie took my fathers very complicated case several years ago. In the end, my father ended up with the house and his ex looked terrible in Court. She is very knowledgable, worked with my father to pay his legal fees on his limited income, and was very professional. Top notch attorney......... Was... very upfront regarding her discipline from the state bar. Would not hesitate to use her myself... which I may. :)

During our consultation she advised me on what to do but was honest in saying I didn't need to hire her at that point. Once my case got more complicated I went ahead and hired her for peace of mind and he...r expertise. She has been by my side and has been a great support, resource, and attorney since I hired her. I had a different attorney prior to Christie that was good but seemed to be more interested in charging me rather than doing what was best for my kids and myself. I have had to deal with multiple mediations and court hearings since 2012 but only due to the other party and the court system. I will be going back to court again soon, hopefully for the last time but I am secure and confident since Christie will be by my side.

I recently hired Christie. I've been in a terrible divorce battle for 6 years. Christie handled my dissolution of marriage along with custody issues with the kids. She was honest from the start gave no false ideas as to what was going to happen. She handled the process quickly and inexpensively compared to my previous attorney. Unfortunately in any divorce you do not always ge...t what you hope for. I appreciated her honesty in explaining the process along with what is achievable and what was not. I've recommended her to many of my friends. And unfortunately have also seen one of my friends with an attorney going up against her. That's a predicament you do not want to be in. I'm so thankful she was ony team.
