Jacqueline Latteri Vaughn

I hired Jacqueline Vaughn of Legal Services of Northern California to help me with receiving my MediCal benefits, specifically transportation services. I have been having problems with the transportation providers being no shows and also being injured during transportation. I have received accommodat...ions to address my injuries. In my initial phone conversation with Jacqueline Vaughn, Jacqueline Vaughn stated a direction to proceed with my case. Upon further conversations, Jacqueline Vaughn made it clear if I didn't explicitly follow Jacqueline Vaughn's advice and recommendations, Jacqueline Vaughn would withdraw her help with my case. I attempted to contact Jacqueline Vaughn on multiple occasions for updates, via both email and voicemail with my questions and concerns, to not receive any response for over a week, on time sensitive deadlines. When Jacqueline Vaughn finally did respond, Jacqueline Vaughn never answered my questions and only stated she was waiting on a response from the other party, for well over a week. Jacqueline Vaughn had my case for nearly two(2) months with little to show for progress. Everytime I spoke with Jacqueline Vaughn, she was always attempting to have me accept a transportation provider that had left me stranded in the past and to waive my accommodations and risk further injury. I requested to speak to Jacqueline Vaughn's supervisor, to discuss the issues I was having with Jacqueline Vaughn, and to file a complaint. After I made this complaint request with Legal Services of Northern California, Jacqueline Vaughn made no attempt to communicate. After accepting the transportation provider that had previously left me stranded, on the first day, I was left stranded once again. The next few mornings, the same transportation provider never showed or called for my scheduled transportation. I left a message with Jacqueline Vaughn's voicemail, once per day, to update her on the lack of transportation and never received a call back until a full three(3) days afterwards, with the message Jacqueline Vaughn would no longer represent me with my case, with no reason given. I feel Jacqueline Vaughn did this in retaliation for filing a complaint against her. I would not recommend Jacqueline Vaughn or Legal Services of Northern California.
