Ed Koons has been practicing in Auburn since he was admitted to the State Bar of California in December of 1978. Mr. Koons has represented a broad range of clients, including individuals, local banks, title companies, contractors, mining companies, and other local businesses.
Mr. Koons has been active in the Placer County Bar Association and has served as its president. During his tenure, he was intrumental in establishing the bar association's website and making court rulings and calendar notes available on-line
Over the years, Mr. Koons has served as a director of a local church, several non-profit organizations, and the North Auburn Municipal Advisory Committee.
Mr. Koons grew up in Newcastle, attended local schools has been happily married for 41 years. He has three adult children and one grandchild.
