Amazing lawyer

I have known ms. Allbright for many years. I have always viewed her as an amazing lawyer. It came to be in the last year and a half that I needed her as my own lawyer and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. She is a very focused lawyer that really goes to bat for you no matter what. If I ever nee...ded a lawyer again, I would 110% go to her over any other lawyer.

Maybe for paperwork but not for litigation

I read some reviews on here and I didn’t listen. If you have a complex case or require any research or preparedness for litigation then absolutely NOT but If you Have something easy peasy and you just need someone who knows the laws and you want to save yourself the headAche then maybe but even still... I would question the charges. None of the issues questions or concerns I have ever got addressed or answered. I’m in a worse situation now than I was before and I’m mad at myself for trusting that she actually cared bc she acted like she cared until after she used up all the retainer. Now she wants to charge over 3x the retainer for something I could’ve done myself. I hired her thinking she would go the extra mile (esp since her fees are the same as the top attys in our county) and actually investigate some of the issues I was raising to her for a year prior to the hearing but none of it ever got addressed and she came to court completely unprepared then had the nerve to send us a bill like she did something for us. In fact of all the days we sat in the courtroom I didn’t see her prevail against any other atty in any of her cases. I realize results in the courtroom are not guaranteed and I can handle losing but I can’t take losing without even putting up a fight. And if she didn’t fight bc she knew we were gonna lose, she should’ve at least been prepared for the hearing no matter how it was going to turn out. I should’ve understood our strategy going into the hearing. We should’ve been prepared to lose and ready to draft the most favorable “losing” order we could to help minimize damage. It became apparent to me it was all about money and not at all what’s best for my child or me. I am not writing this to bash her, I’m hoping it will encourage her to try harder to be a better lawyer bc she’s very knowledgeable. It just seems maybe somewhere along the way in doing it everyday she forgot she holds peoples lives in her hands and for what she’s charging there’s a certain quality of service one should be able to expect.

Unprofessional- should not be practicing law. Only cares about money.

Booked two clients for the same court appointment. Complained about the cut she was receiving from the primary attorney. Was very late for all 6 appointments. Court appointment was rescheduled because she didn't show up but I still had to pay full price for the time. Did not review my evidence. Did... not bring evidence or present it to DA prior to court as needed. Did not explain proceedings or attempt to win case. All other lawyers in waiting room did not respect her. Absolutely deplorable behavior. $12,500 for worse than nothing.

I'm sorry if there was miscommunication that resulted in your dissatisfaction. No attorney in a solo private practice is able to avoid being double booked in the same courthouse on the same floor. I work for different attorneys who charge different amounts for my time, no matter how long I am in court, which I don't control. I know that I have never missed that many appearances on any case and that I personally have never charged that much for a criminal case. I believe after 27 years here, I am respected by most attorneys and judges. I work hard to do my job and am not about making the money. I would welcome further communication about this by emailing me privately.
